One of the best ways to put a smile on your face, a bounce in your step and a warm feeling that you are among friendly people is to go along to the tea dance which is organised and run by Jean Leclerc on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Waterloo Action Centre.
You may find a waltz or foxtrot in the mix of the dances but Jean also introduces and teaches some party dances, line dances, sequence dances and a host of other ‘fun’ things to do. Jean is a very good and patient teacher and quickly brings out the best in everyone – even those with two left feet! The afternoon is never boring – and even when tea and cake is served, there is usually entertainment from some local singers.
just turn up and you’ll be amazed at the welcome you’ll receive and the friends that you’ll make.
