This year, for the first time, Marylebone Summer Festival will feature its own unique dog show, hosted by local Marylebone institution Mr and Mrs Small. The show will be presented by local resident and BBC London Radio host, Jo Good and podcast partner Anna Webb (The Barking Hour).
The dog show will comprise 3 competition categories, Doga classes, massage workshops, talks by expert speakers, demonstrations and consultations. The competition categories comprise:
- Look Like Your Owner (11:00am)
- Fancy Dress (12:00pm)
- Special Talents (12:45pm)
Entry fee into each competition is a £10 donation per dog to our charity partner, Greenhouse Sports. There are limited spaces and we ask that each owner only enter into a maximum of 2 categories. There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs for each competition (Wisdom from Bruce Fogle, grooming, treats and toys, holistic nurse consultation, yoga classes and a Doga book).
There will be two Doga (Yoga with Dogs) classes during the afternoon at 3pm and 4:30pm. Entry into either of these will be a £5 donation and all yoga mats will be kindly provided by Marylebone favourite, Lululemon on the day.
There will also be demonstrations by our Holistic Vet Nurse, a book signing by notorious London Vet Clinic's, Bruce Fogle and opportunities for one-to-one consultations.
If you are feeling like your pet pooch is need of some R&R then look no further as there will be a Dog Massage Workshop at 3:45pm, on a first come, first served basis.
All proceeds for this event will go to our local charity partner, Greenhouse Sports, which offers disadvantaged children a place to play sports and be mentored.
Please kindly note that all dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Please ensure you clean up after your dog. There will be extra doggie bags provided along with additional bins in the Gardens. We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes early to register for each class/competition.

Doga Class at 3pm
This is a 45 minute yoga class, led by Doga expert DogaMahny. The owners do the yoga, whilst their dogs sit with them. There will be light, atmospheric music and mats will be supplied by Lululemon on the day. |

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. By entering your dog into this event, you are agreeing to imagery and video content being used by the event organiser and partners for promotional purposes. If you would like to opt out, please email events@hdwe.co.uk.
13. The organisers reserve the right to remove a dog(s) from the Gardens if they are being aggressive towards another dog/human or are being disruptive to the competition, or showing signs of stress, anxiety, fear, illness or injury.
14. By entering the Dog Show you are agreeing to take full responsibility for, any injury or damage to and/or caused by your dog(s) and it is not the liability of the organisers or sponsors including disappearance, theft, death or otherwise. You are fully liable for your animal should they cause any damage or injury. Any dog showing aggressive behaviour at the show will be asked to leave with no refund given.
15. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, unless instructed by the organisers. Anyone failing to comply, may be asked to leave.
