An abandoned London theatre has been taken over by a ragtag gang of misfits under their charismatic leader and put to a sinister and gruesome purpose.

Like Edward Lionheart and his troupe of vagabonds in the 1973 horror classic "Theatre of Blood", Suzette Field and A Curious Invitation will descend upon the Coronet theatre on Friday 27th October 2017 to stage their Halloween spectacular: a dark tribute to the classic monsters of horror, featuring nine stages and a cast of over 100 performers.

In the THEATRE OF BLOOD..

TROYLUS SEARLL - Musical mortician and maestro of the macabre, who will spin chilling classical tunes celebrating excommunications and exorcisms, hexes and hauntings, spirits and succubi.

THE DEAD BROTHERS - The world’s greatest death blues funeral trash orchestra. Bavarian hillbilly meets Baltic bluegrass via Dashiell Hammett, Georges Brassens and the Marquis de Sade. When the fog lifts and the winds shift, things are rarely what they seem..

GYPSY HILL - The Beast from the Middle East: Balkan balls-and-brass extravaganza, performing a witches’ brew of Transylvanian trance, Mediterranean surf rock, Serbian ska & swing with guitars, horns, tuba, electronics, scratching and phat beats.

LARRY TEE – The Original Hipster, Party Monster and Godfather of Electroclash. Bringing mixes, mash-ups and musical mayhem to the midnight masses.

VAMPIRE CIRCUS with CHIVAREE CIRCUS..

The Greatest Blood Show on Earth from Chivaree Circus. When the Circus of Night unexpectedly arrives in the plague-ridden town of Stetl the burghers are at first delighted by its shapeshifting troupers and mystic Mirror of Life. But eerie events soon begin to occur, as children disappear and the legacy of an age-old massacre is revisited.

THE BRIDES OF DRACULA CABARET

Count Dracula, in the guise of our compère beyond compare DESMOND O’CONNOR presents his bewitching bevy of bloodsucking beauties, including:

KIRBY MARZELLE - Burlesque bombshell brings a new meaning to “doing her nails” as she performs fakir-style on a spiked bed.

SYBAN V - Dark, compelling fantasy of love, betrayal, piercing and stapling.

TETE BANG - Bad bitch of burlesque and angle grinder, striking sparks off metals and audiences alike.

MACKIE MESSER - Prague's premier vintage vinyl vamp and Captain of the Mystery Ship. With SACHA DIEU - guru of global beats and gypsy burlesque.

PIRATE TANGO with LA MISERIA DELUXE.. Before tango became the brand of Buenos Aires, it lived on the streets in sailors’ taverns and houses of ill repute, where the laughter of despairand delirium mixes with the breath of alcohol, tobacco and sweat. Glass in hand and accordion in fist, LA MISERIA DELUXE bring you Pirate Tango - a bohemian, visceral and underworld dance of Epoetic delirium, love and loss, life and death.

THE DRAWING ROOM

Enter Midwich - the Village of the Damned - where you are invited to take up pen and paper and sketch an uncanny tableau of platinum blonde otherworldly beings. As their telepathic eyes bore into your soul, can you capture their likeness before they capture your soul?

THE DARK, THE DEVIOUS AND THE DEAD with DREW COLBY

Descend into the shadow world of DREW COLBY where light and dark are manipulated to evoke tales of deceit, trickery and mortality: ghostly, romantic poems of illicit love and passion from beyond the grave in "The Highwayman" and "The Suffolk Miracle" and spookily humorous stories in "The Witch called Five".

THE MAUSOLEUM

In our stately sepulchre select a velvet-lined coffin, choose your funeral music and lie serenely in state, serenaded by your playlist for the hereafter, as your fellow revellers whoop it up at your very own personal wake.

UNDER THE ARCHES

Here where the Arch-Fiends dwell we present a series of immersive realms paying tribute to classic British horror movies.

THE REALM OF THE CENOBITES - An homage to Hellraiser

Enter if you dare, the Domain of the Cenobites, the abode of the Demons of Wrath and sacred Hierophants of the Order of the Gash. Here Pinhead will scourge your earthly flesh as you fall under the seductive spell of the siren songs of The Female, hanging crucified with shibari bonds overhead.

THE SACRIFICIAL RITES - A paean to the pagan classic The Wickerman

Take a seaplane to the remote Scottish island community of Summerisle where the harvest has failed and the islanders must perform a human sacrifice to appease the pagan gods. They have woven a giant human effigy from willow twigs and now they seek a sacrificial victim. Join them in singing traditional Celtic songs and awaiting the arrival of the willing virgin-fool.

INTO THE MADHOUSE - A Celebration of the 1972 horror flick The Asylum

Dr Starr, the former director of the this institution for the incurably insane, has long ago lost his own mind and become one of the inmates. Here where the borders between madness and reason blur try to hang onto your own sanity as you succumb to the ministrations of our nurses from MORPHEUS’S MASSEUSES.
