I purchased the full package including pre-show dinner. On arrival we were shown into the Domino Room and served a 2 courses in the dining room with champagne to accompany. The food was cooked to perfection and we were entertained by an illusionist between courses. Dessert was served downstairs in the Oscar Wilde room whilst the Cabaret warned up. The show was great and the artists mingled with the audience making us feel like we were part of the entertainment not just watching the artists. Be warned if you're a selfie addict or need to tweet your experiences you will find yourself centre-stage if spotted by the artists. As other reviewers have mentioned, there isn't a great deal of burlesque, just the one act in second half of show. A great show nevertheless in a spectacular venue. I'll definitely book again. We had a wonderful evening both staff and entertainers were wonderful. The only disappointing part was the burlesque show as there was only one lady dancing which wasn,t what we had expected. would still recommend and will return kate visited Hotel Café Royal on 18 Oct 2015

I have been to see this group a few times at cafe de Paris and they were amazing. I went back yesterday in the new venue but I was quite disappointed. There was no burlesque a part from the final song.... Having seen them before my expectations were high, due to the space in the new location, there were some limitations.... overall an Ok evening lauraperretta visited Hotel Café Royal on 30 Sep 2015

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday on a bit of a whim as we didn't know what to expect... but it was one of the best shows either of us have been to! The location was incredible, the acts were great and the show's host was brilliant. All in all, a fantastic evening out and would recommend to anyone!

We booked tickets for the black cat cabaret as a treat on Friday 27/03/15. We went for the dinner and show package. We dined initially in the domino room and then moved down to the Oscar Wilde bar for the show. The venue is lovely, the Oscar Wilde bar is very decadent and perfect for a cabaret setting. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing for the price. Bland chicken, mash, cabbage and gravy for the main course was the only choice given (I think you could have had roasted vegetables if you were vegetarian, but we weren't given a choice at all.) The artists in the cabaret were very good, but each act was extremely short. The PA system wasn't working which did not affect the quality of the singing which was very good. But the evening all seemed very rushed and it seemed to us that the artists were keen to get their act over and done with so that they could leave. The drinks were expensive. Unfortunately, we were left wanting more, but not in a good way. Not good value for money at all, very disappointing.

This was a fantastic night. From the venue to the performers everything was brilliantly done and well worth the ticket price. If I was forced to find a down side it might be the lack of options from having a set menu, but that's a minor thing.
