Ekstedt at The Yard is a
culinary haven that seamlessly blends Nordic charm with
contemporary gastronomy. Rooted in Michelin-starred Chef Niklas
Ekstedt's innovative Nordic cooking philosophy, the restaurant
emphasizes open-fire cooking techniques, highlighting the primal
connection between food and flame.
Step into the enchanting world of Midsummer at Ekstedt at the Yard for an exclusive lunch experience like no other. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a refreshing drink by Pomello and led to a beautiful room within the hotel to decorate their flower crowns. Here, guests can choose some lush greenery and blooming flowers for their flower crowns, which will be worn during lunch and late into the night 🌸
The lunch later takes place in the restaurant area, where the air is filled with the delightful aroma of traditional Swedish cuisine being prepared over an open flame, courtesy of Head Chef Theres Andersson and her talented team.
Guests will indulge in a lavish feast of Midsummer delicacies featuring an array of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients expertly crafted into mouthwatering dishes. From smoked fish and pickled herring to freshly baked bread and berry tarts, every bite is a celebration of the rich culinary heritage of Midsummer. Traditional Snaps by Nuet Aquavit will be served to kick off the Midsummer feast.
As the meal progresses, guests will be entertained by live
traditional music and dance performances, adding a lively and
festive atmosphere to the celebration. The sounds of fiddles and
accordions fill the air, inviting guests to join in the merriment
and dance around the table, a symbol of Midsummer
traditions...🌸
