The yoga was varied and enjoyable. I liked that the class size was relatively small (12-15 people). I thought the breakfast was poor value for money. There was limited choice and it was mediocre quality - definitely not worth £10. visited Sky Garden on 16 Aug 2017

Most amazing way to start the day with the sun rising over London, doing yoga surrounded by plants and guided by great teachers. Totally worth waking up for earlier. Delicious breakfast offer after to smoothen the transition and allow for an energized and happy start :) visited Sky Garden on 15 Aug 2017

Another lovely morning and great yoga session. The only one annoying thing is that all breakfast tables are reserved for other bookings, so yogis have to essentially scramble for stools, or cop a squat somewhere, which is a bit unfair considering we've paid for breakfast. The Sunrise yoga was in a beautiful location with great views. The yoga itself was a little fast paced and we were unable to hear what the instructor was saying possibly due to the microphone and echoing so it was difficult to follow. The breakfast was lovely however gluten and dairy free options and staff with more knowledge of these would have been benefici. But was overall an enjoyable morning. I enjoyed the yoga very much but disappointed it was not right at the top as my friend had previously experienced. The breakfast was also very enjoyable but again we were both disappointed that the majority of tables were reserved so we struggled to find a seat and nobody really wanted to help. We eventually had to go up many stairs to find a suitable seat. Christine visited Sky Garden on 12 Aug 2017

The yoga class was good, views nice and the breakfast food was sufficient, however the service and directions were below our expectations. There were no signs or directions were to go once we arrived, also after the class there were no directions for breakfast. Once we found the breakfast buffet, all the tables had reserved signs on them. Assuming these were reserved for us, we took a seat. After some time, a staff member rather rudely told us to leave and take our breakfast upstairs. Meaning we had to carry heavy trays up the long stairs between tourists. Overall the good weather and nice views made the experience worthwhile, but the service was a real downer. Kristin visited Sky Garden on 13 Aug 2017

We had booked for an 8:30am yoga Class, waited until 9am and was told our Yoga instructor called in sick last minute. The floor manager assured us that she would be in contact to reschedule our class for another suitable time. The instructor didn't turn up! We were all offered breakfast as a complementary goodwill gesture which was appreciated and I am now awaiting contact from the manager to arrange a refund. I guess it is one of those things where you can't blame the staff at the Walkie Talkie building but it was certainly frustrating as I had arranged the trip as a birthday surprise for my friend travelling up from Norfolk! Utterly enjoyed my experience. I went on a Sunday morning and I left feeling totally zen and set up for the week! The yoga is definitely accessible to all - but not too simple that it was merely a stretch session. The instructor also gave options for different poses so that differing levels could get the most out of the class. Breakfast after was yummy - fresh fruit, nuts, granola, yoghurt, tea & coffee, plus some mini patisseries! And everything enjoyed with a view over the sleepy city. I'll definitely be going again! The yoga was way too light and you could barely hear the instructor. The line outside to get a spot in time was a mess and although I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed via the confirmation email suggested, I was still late. The class was a lot of fun. The view was amazing. The only thing I struggled with was the sound from the insructor. The room is so large the sound gets lost. As the class was so big the instructor was walking up and down to check on everyone, but this made it difficult as there wasn't a visual of each action every time the movement changed. It was a lot of fun as a beginner but also distracting as there were visitors to the garden taking pictures and talking as well as the sound of coffee machines. A good experience and loads of fun. visited Sky Garden on 16 Jul 2017

I was disappointed as it was the second time I'd been and on both occasions I was not able to hear the instructor. They had sound issues ok both occasions. Such an amazing affordable activity but just a bit ruined by a simple technical issue!! I gave the benefit of the doubt the first time, but on the second occasion it was exactly the same. (Even worse as i had brought my parents along who are older and heard even less than I). Yoga should be a relaxed experience where you can listen to the words and instructions while focusing on your self, i was struggling to hear a word so spent a lot of time straining my neck to see the instructor and others to follow the class. Such a shame: I would advise to others if they improve the sound system. Either that or don't have so many people in the class that no one can hear without a successful sound system in place. Great activity in amazing location, totally let down :( Luke visited Sky Garden on 09 Jul 2017

Three star's based on the views/ location The yoga itself was not very well set up, hardly could see the instructor. The class started whilst we were had our bags checked so felt my money was not worth the £10. I have been to yoga sessions which last 45mins and I have gotten more out of it then I did with this class unfortunately it was too slow and I didn't move enough in the time allocated. I attended the Sunrise Yoga and breakfast last Sunday. It was actually really lovely. The yoga teacher was nice, and the intensity level of the yoga was easy enough for beginners with some optional adjustments offered to those more experienced. It started a bit later than the other sunrise classes during the week, so not exactly sunrise, but that was fine. The breakfast was also really nice, although it would have been nice to have a hot option included, otherwise no complaints on the food front. My only suggestion would be to have the class start earlier. The reason being is that the Sky Garden restaurants open to the public during the middle of the yoga session, and it becomes a little difficult to hear because of the noise. This is not really even a major complaint! Overall, highly recommend and would happily attend again! Get in early to get a good spot. Courtney visited Sky Garden on 25 Jun 2017

Lovely venue and lovely experience but just a few things disappointed us. There was a film crew there when we arrived and there was camera equipment all over. When the class began we could barely hear the instructor even though she was using a mic and she stayed in the same spot for the entire session so we couldn't see or hear her very well at all. Also at the beginning of the class she should have asked everyone to space out so that there was room to stretch out properly but as she didn't we were packed in too close together. Breakfast was lovely and even though we along with many others had booked and paid extra for this after the yoga class, there was no area reserved for us to actually sit and enjoy it. Tables however had been reserved for the public for when they arrived. Fortunately we managed to get a table but some people were stuck for somewhere to sit and eat their breakfasts which was very unfair. Would have preferred more choice of drinks too, only offered tea or coffee yet the advert for this event shows fruit smoothies etc. I know I have listed a few things here but they could be easily remedied and I would happily come back Marina visited Sky Garden on 17 Jun 2017

Venue was great, but a film crew was working during our class which wasn't the atmosphere I had hoped for. Also, there were too many people in the class for the teacher to instruct with the care I would have liked. visited Sky Garden on 17 Jun 2017

Excellent. Stunning venue. albeit it was a struggle to hear the instructor. Very friendly and charming instructor and made the morning session very enjoyable. Pace was good, even for relatively new beginners. Would definitely go back again and also recommend. visited Sky Garden on 16 Jun 2017

The yoga class was very good, it stretched me in all of the right ways. The breakfast was also very good and healthy. The only negative was that we kept getting moved on when eating as the public had reserved tables and there wasn't enough for us even though as we had paid for breakfast we thought there would be a table reserved as well. karen visited Sky Garden on 17 Jun 2017

What a way to start the day, sunrise yoga looking over the London sky line followed by breakfast! Jon our yoga teacher was lovely, a really fun class. The only thing was there was quite a bit of noise from caterers downstairs which was a shame but it didn't ruin the practice. visited Sky Garden on 16 Jun 2017

The yoga class itself was great! T was challenging, by not too much, Ian's also relaxing. The teacher was really good and I wish I'd asked where else she has classes! Although the sun had already risen way before we started, it didn't matter as he spectacular views were worth it. Berna visited Sky Garden on 14 Jun 2017

Disappointing. We wanted to be able to enjoy our time after a relaxing yoga session but we were shuffled out by staff and encouraged not to eat breakfast in the venue and not to take photos because they were filming. This was very disappointing and money not well spent visited Sky Garden on 13 Jun 2017

Great setting, not very good acoustics though - was hard to hear and understand the instructions. Very large class and little possibility for individual care and pose adjustments. For those reason would recommend to people who have done yoga before and know correct alignments - otherwise wont benefit much... Will defo do again. eves visited Sky Garden on 13 Jun 2017

Really loved this. View was amazing and the breakfast was tasty but still healthy. The only negetive I felt was that the class was too big and if kept smaller would have been easier to instruct. At a tenner though def worth going as most normal yoga classes are that anyway! Marian visited Sky Garden on 09 Jun 2017

Yoga experience was great however a few hiccups with the breakfast bit. Firstly it was not clearly indicated on the ticket where is the breakfast. This was not my first time here and the last time I did yoga breakfast, the meal was served in Darwin bressarie. Not this time and from Darwin we found out we have to go to the big cafe. When arriving there we saw that all tables are booked. Initially we thought this is for yoga brunchers, but turns out that not! So that means they have sold the breakfast but have not reserved any seating area for these people? How bizarre is that! We were a group of 5 so finding a seat was a challenge, thankfully one of the groups that had reserved a table did not turn up. I was asking to talk to a manger, and although I was promised they would come by, no one showed up. My recommendation to the management would be to reserve seats for those who have booked the breakfast to avoid awkward situations. Liva visited Sky Garden on 03 Jun 2017

Overall the weekend yoga+breakfast experience was greatly enjoyed. Sadly, the yoga was not the strongest part of it so it makes me question the necessity to book the class I I go next time (entry to the venue is free). The venue itself is breath-taking- I've been there once before and I knew what to expect so I was really looking forward to 1 hour of serenity and a blissful+memorable morning yoga practice. However, I think there are a few things that could be improved; firstly, there were too many people, all spread across the width of the building, and it was impossible to hear the instructor (even when her mic was working, which was only half of the class). I am a regular at yoga and even I struggled to hear what the "commands" were. Three girls next to me were complete newbies to yoga and they couldn't help but laugh in resignation at the whole experience. My friend who was on my other side couldn't hear a thing so for her the experience was even worse. I think there should be a warning that this class is not for beginners. There should also be less people in the class or there should be 2 instructors so that everybody can either hear or see at least one of them. Secondly, before the class was finished, we were interrupted by sightseeing crowd. This was distracting (especially during the resting part of the class) - the space should be made private only to class attendees for that 1 hour. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. My only suggestion would be to serve the drinks in regular cups instead of paper - the restaurant is posh enough to afford to wash the cups. The location is beautiful and this is the main attraction of the whole experience. visited Sky Garden on 03 Jun 2017

It was a busy class but the teacher was great. It was a beginners class but that is understandable considering how many people the teacher had to cater for. The views were fantastic! And the breakfast was delicious! Definitely had my fill Kayleigh visited Sky Garden on 01 Jun 2017
