After 16 years of undertaking comedy club shows for adults, we’re bringing back our award-winning comedy shows to the little ones amongst us as well, and we thought what better place and time to do this than at the St Swithun’s Church in East Grinstead as part of their long-established arts week.

So make sure to join us in the truly stunning and fantastic 14th-century St Swithun's Church for the first comedy club event the church has ever held.

We’ll be using the same winning formula, which has seen us become the South East’s longest-running independent provider of comedy, alongside being twice nominated for Comedy Club of the South by Dave TV & Absolute Radio, two years running.

So rest assured, you're in safe and well-experienced hands when it comes to award-winning comedy, and our kid's shows are no different. They’re all the great comedy we do for adults, but without the rude bits and with a fantastic musical twist in the middle to get the little ones and the big ones involved in the show as well.

We’ve pulled together a fantastic line-up, hand-picking some of the country’s leading stand-up comedians, musicians and ventriloquist for kids. Including acts that appear on the TV as well as the national touring circuit, and bringing them to the heart of the historic High Street of East Grinstead. Bringing their vast years of experience and award-winning shows to the stunning St Swithun’s church in East Grinstead, West Sussex

The show will feature 3 different acts, with a brief break between the first two acts and the headliner. Great food and drink will be available at the show as well.

We expect this to be a busy show, so grab those tickets quickly to avoid missing some amazing live performances that both kids and adults will love just as much as well.

We suggest the best age for the full enjoyment of the shows is 6+, although you're welcome to bring those little ones who might be a little younger, but we’ll leave that with you to decide.

Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter. With over 11 years under his belt, performing kids' comedy shows, you're in for a great show with this vastly experienced kids' comedian.

Over the past decade, he has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway.

He is a regular host and actor for respected British comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Komedia, The Backyard, The Glee, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Top Secret Comedy, and Comedy Club 4 Kids. He has also hosted stages for Bestival, Festival No.6, End of the Road, and Sunday Papers Live.

A Facebook hero when it comes to kids’ shows, a full on interactive show, where the kids become the instruments as well as the room, all in the creation of music and mayhem, by the end of the show, he’s created a song with bucket loads of humour and wit, using the audience and his surroundings as the instruments.

Comedian and ventriloquist Max Fulham has been working professionally since his early teens and brings a fresh and contemporary twist to a classic art.

Max has wowed audiences with his one-man show, entertaining thousands of people in theatres across the UK and internationally. Highlights include appearing on ‘The Good Old Days’ at Leeds City Varieties, following in the footsteps of his variety heroes, and performing on the Blackpool Opera House stage as part of the world-famous Blackpool Magic Convention. Max has also had the unique pleasure of headlining at the prestigious Venthaven Ventriloquist Convention in the USA.

He has also endeared himself to pantomime audiences throughout the UK and has worked for Cambridge Arts Theatre, Crossroads and Evolution Productions playing lead comic roles. He was honoured to be awarded ‘Best Speciality Act’ in the Great British Pantomime Awards in .

With TV appearances including ITV’s Saturday night show ‘Game of Talents’, 'Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable' on Dave and the revival of the classic ‘Crackerjack!’, Max’s comedic talents are in high demand. He is also a regular on the stand-up comedy circuit.

Described as "skilled and quick-witted" by The Stage and with viral success on TikTok amassing 2 million likes, Max is a performer not to be missed.

•  - We ask that Adults sit with children in their party (and help explain anything they might get stuck on).
• - We can only allow up to a maximum of 4 children per adult at these shows, so a maximum of one adult to every 4 children. If more children than that are attending, you will need an extra adult to be able to observe and manage the children in your group
• - Please note that seating is done on a first-come, first-served basis, and all seats will have a great view of the acts performing
