Head Chef Mahmud Zaman’s exquisite, healthy food has long been lauded by their customers, and has now been officially recognised as the best around. Zaman beat tough competition to win Chef of the Year at the prestigious Asian Curry Awards 2015.
Zaman’s achievements are all the more impressive considering his humble beginnings. Arriving in England from a small village in Bangladesh, he began his career as a kitchen porter at The Sportsman. He has since worked his way up and now presents artistic and experimental cooking of the highest order for the casino’s customers and guests.
