SpiceBox

Description

Spicebox is the entirely vegan curry house located in the heart of Walthamstow. Formerly a pop-up, the renowned brand now has a permanent home on Hoe Street - with space to seat up to 30 diners and a takeaway menu to boot.

With a mix of traditional and international inspiration, the interiors have been designed by founder Grace Regan, who decided to go vegan after moving to the States to expand her tech start-up. Following travels in India, she has since come up with completely animal-free takes on classic dishes, including the likes of jackfruit jalfrezi, and an award-winning tarka dahl.

Drinks complement the list of spicy Indian dishes, with Cobra beer and a locally brewed IPA from Walthamstow's Wild Card Brewery. There is also a limited menu of cocktails such as the Masala Mojito and the Chai White Russian.
