Description
Just off Buckingham Palace Road in London, Hanbaagaasuuteeki is Victoria’s bold new answer to the capital’s burger heavyweights. Translating as 'wonderful hamburger,' the name nods to Japan’s steak-style burger trend, and that’s exactly the approach here: thick, indulgent patties treated with the reverence of a main-course cut. The menu takes diners on a pan-Asian tour, weaving flavours from China, Korea, Thailand and Japan into a distinctly Western format, before tipping its hat to tradition with a classic double cheeseburger.
The space itself keeps things refreshingly old-school, with a central communal table, counter seating and no impersonal ordering screens in sight. Instead, staff chat, guide, and genuinely engage, creating a kind of warm, neighbourhood feel.
