Exhibit B, the little sister of The Exhibit based in Balham has recently opened up in Streatham Hill. Exhibit B - a youth club for adults.

Entertainment lies at the heart of Exhibit B – found in prime position along Streatham High Road – with Streatham’s diverse mix of drinkers firmly in mind. It is here the young, old and downright hedonistic will flock for everything from wild brunches and leisurely lunches through to lively dinners and late-night drinks. Set against a selection of carefully curated live music and performances – local DJs, drag queens, bongo players, electric saxophonists – this is where they will drop in for the times when only a stiff drink and a good dance will do: after-work, after-party – and everything in between.

Select cocktails, beers and spirits have taken their cues from their new surroundings: signatures include the Streatham Sling (gin, vermouth, elderflower, mint, lime, salt – a London take on the Singapore classic); the St.Reatham (a Munich-style lager made locally); and the Graveney (a grapefruit and basil G&T using Tooting-based gin – a near neighbour). All the usual concoctions, crafts, spritzes and sparklings are present and correct – so those with a firm favourite should fear not.

The menu – local, seasonal, global – remains as fiercely good as its Balham brother: brunches are still a big thing with light bites like California avo sandwich and sweetcorn fritters to larger affairs such as fried chicken benedict and the ‘Streatham loaded’ – a full English, Exhibit-style. Add bottomless coffee for £5 or bubbles for £20.

Their intimate Dark Room is available for private hire and is perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Our Review

We went for brunch at the new sister site to Balham's Exhibit: Exhibit B

We went for brunch at the new sister site to Balham's Exhibit: Exhibit B

I've been to Streatham for a bottle of bleach and one of my friends lived there that one skewed time, but i'll be honest, a bus down the road seems to make no difference, I just don't go to Streatham. At least, I didn't go to Streatham before now....

Food lovely but a limited menu cocktails nice but lacked strength. Staff friendly and welcoming. Fab night Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-16

Service was excellant, friendly, genuine and timely, we didnt feel rushed or like we had to wait too long for anything. Mac & cheese - delicious Chips with aioli - the chips were perfectly cooked. Didn't need the vinegar (I think it was in the dip, not a fan of that) Pardon peppers - PERFECT! Brocolli - I personally didnt enjoy the flavours added, I think there was something pickled. Burger - good, I had to add salt though. Was surprised chips/fries didn't come with it. Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-07

Staff attentive. Delicious small plates ideal additions alongside cocktails + wine! Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-06

Great food (my yolks were hard would be my only complaint), the staff were so friendly and efficient (we didn't have to ask for a prosecco top up once!) and the venue itself is cool with a lovely atmosphere (although the toilet door lock did break off in my hand! Oops!) Can't wait to come back! Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-04

We were delighted to visit Exhibit B and delighted to be a part of what I hope will become an important addition to the Streatham scene. Not sure about the tagline 'youth club for adults' as there wasn't much activity apart from drinking in evidence but maybe a Sunday lunchtime wasn't the time or the place. We tried the Sunday roast and probably this was a bit 'early days' Chicken was lovely but everything else of the plate was cold. The requested 'extra' gravy (there hadn't been any so it wasn't exactly 'extra') arrived in a bowl, because the jugs had 'run out'. It's a very good idea to do a taste test session and to offer a 50% discount for taking part but, lovely staff aside, there were a few too many issues to justify the end price, even with the discount. Having said all this, we knew what we were about to experience and would like to welcome Exhibit B to the Streatham scene and hope we're not too old to participate in some youth club ambience soon! I hired out the back room in Exhibit B and from start to finish all the staff were really friendly and helpful. This was my first time visiting the bar on a Saturday evening, the atmosphere was great and we all had a lovely time. I would hire this room out again for future birthdays etc. I can't recommend enough. Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-03

We were a bunch of animals, I can only apologise. But even so the staff were excellent! The food was there! And the bubble did flow! Cracking work everyone! Again, sorry. #PUP Visited Exhibit B on 2018-02-03

The experience was amazing. The staff are very friendly and catered to my every need. The only thing i would like is more cocktails for £5 on the list as it was a bit limited. But again thank you for making my first time special! Visited Exhibit B on 2018-01-13

Food was better than we expected, drinks were good and the DJ was amazing! Visited Exhibit B on 2018-01-06

We'd accidentally booked the Streatham branch instead of the Balham one, where we're regulars. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience due to the exceptionally rude manager. We had a query about the Bottomless Brunch - it looked on the menu like it was £20 for food and bottomless prosecco. Instead of explaining or attempting to apologise, he was bad mannered & unhelpful. Completely inappropriate and won't be visiting again. Visited Exhibit B on 2017-12-16

It was extremely complicated booking, and I had several emails to the streatham branch, but eventually I had Lola from Balham dealing with my reservation for 38 and she was amazing. There were a few issues with staff,on the night, but the manager dealt with them promptly. Overall it was a good night but we won't be going back in a hurry. Visited Exhibit B on 2017-12-15

I like the bar exhibit but on Sunday I was really disappointed. We had booked a table but when we got there nobody came to greet us at the door or help us sit down. Service was terrible, don’t think there was enough waiters or they just weren’t very attentive - felt like we were a burden. Also the food was average, meat very chewy and two types of cabbage felt like a cop out. Also my vegetarian friend was very disappointed to hear all she could have was halloumi as her meat replacement... with a roast? Not normal. On the positive extra potato’s and Yorkshire’s is good for £12 but definitely wouldn’t go back for a Sunday lunch again sorry. Visited Exhibit B on 2017-11-19

Service was quick to begin with, we was seated quickly and our orders was taken quickly. However drinks to a while to be brought to us and the Sunday beef roast was not nice at all. Beef was overdone and grisly. Potato’s and veg lacked any flavour and to be honest without the gravy being placed all over there wouldn’t of been any taste and all Visited Exhibit B on 2017-11-19

Not quite what we expected. Friends were raving about the place and I've popped into the venue in Balham on a few occasions so thought we would try it out. There was a small group of us for dinner, but we were rather disappointed with the food. Quite bland mains and sides, with over seasoned chips. Atmosphere was good with the live saxaphone and drinks weren't too bad. Will have to build up some oomph to maybe try it again in the future. Really lovely atmosphere and helpful team. I went for the mum and baby film screening. Will defo go again if the films keep being recent ones we can't get to. Have booked our first roast there too! Visited Exhibit B on 2017-11-17

Very positive experience. Staff were outstanding. However, we couldn’t decide whether the place is a club, restaurant, wine bar or anything in between. Will visit again. Visited Exhibit B on 2017-11-18

Great service. Finally a place where staff appreciate customers and want to ensure they have an enjoyable and positive evening. Food was also very good but the staff made our night. Visited Exhibit B on 2017-11-08

We went for brunch and found the service pretty slow. Food, didn't have much taste. Cool venue though. Much better than the previous venue but it still has a long way to go. As we all know with these pop up bars, they can be style of substance sometimes. Didn't like walking in - the staff all flocked straight at us which made us feel a little uncomfortable.

Went down for the brunch a couple of weeks ago! While my fritters lacked seasoning, we LOVED sitting next to the fish tank, adored the poached eggs and made the most of the bottomless bubbles
