The first Jazz brunch at Spiritland hosts two outstanding talents - Freddie Benedict & Kieran Gunter.
Freddie studied classical singing at the Katarina Gurska Conservatoire in Madrid and a master’s degree in jazz singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He sings with the Trinity Big Band, Kings Big Band and his own jazz quintet, London Red, have included the Spice of Life, the Hideaway, Jazz After Dark, Ronnie Scott’s and regularly sells out Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly.
Kieran Gunter is an award-winning performer, composer and arranger currently based in London. A guitarist at ease in a great many styles, his flexibility sees him playing music as varied as be-bop and bossa nova, right through to Bach, Beyoncé and the blues.
A jazz player at heart, having graduated from Leeds College of Music’s iconic jazz course, Kieran currently performs regularly with the João Menezes Quintet. The group explores the music of samba, chôro and MPB (Música Popular Brasileiro).
The £25 ticket includes entry to the event, coffee / tea and juice and one of the following dishes:
Breakfast Sandwich - Sausage, fried egg, Applewood smoked cheddar, chipotle ketchup in an English muffin
Fried Green Tomatoes - Corn pancake, coleslaw, jalapeño & green tomato salsa
Cheeseburger - 28 day aged beef burger with Applewood smoked cheddar, lettuce, tomato & red onion
