Cafe Francois

Café François, sister restaurant of Maison François, is a modern-day French restaurant set within the bustling Borough Yards. Drawing together influence from the classic cafés found in Paris, contemporary delis of California and the stylish bistros of Montreal, the menu at Café François pays homage to the much loved affordable French classics, whilst embracing global influences and flavours. Overlooking Borough market and the shard, the design celebrates the area’s industrial past, with interiors nodding to the classic brasserie. Open from morning through to evening, Café François transforms throughout the day offering a number of classic and contemporary favourites and staples from Executive Chef Partner Matthew Ryle.

We are now your new Sunday destination for epic roasts with all the trimmings. Prime rib of beef with horseradish cream, rôtisserie chicken with bread sauce and stuffing, porchetta with apple sauce, or our vegetarian stuffed cabbage with celeriac and freekah, are served with roast potatoes, braised greens, carrots, and leek gratin, and not forgetting the star of the show, Yorkshire pudding. 

We serve Afternoon Tea everyday. Monday to Friday 14:30 to 17:30 and from 15:00 on Weekends.
