The Black Book has a rich history - it was previously TRADE, an exclusive members' club catering to the hospitality industry. TRADE's "Black Book" of hand-picked and rare wines was a closely guarded secret that quickly became popular among members. Given its tremendous appeal, it only made sense to name their wine bar after the legacy of the "Black Book" 

The Black Book offers a unique experience with London's most extensive list of wines available "by-the-glass". Their walk-in Coravin Cellar is stocked with an impressive range of wines, accompanied by delectable bar snacks and a refined food menu to choose from.

The space at our venue is open for hosting events and private parties. We have two semi-private alcoves situated in secluded corners, providing a cosy and intimate setting for gatherings with friends. These alcoves are perfect for small groups of 12 people, whether it's for a relaxed dinner or a casual evening of drinks.

Additionally, we offer a secluded alcove space that is well-suited for celebratory events. Whether you're organising a party, birthday gathering or even a wine tasting event, this space can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 20 people.
