West End Sessions sees an eclectic mix of artists brought together and curated by acclaimed star of Les Miserables and leading man, Daniel Koek. Intimate performances from some of the cities most exciting stars, the line up is carefully crafted from London’s West End & beyond.

The evening will feature duets and solo performances from special guests Trevor Ashley, Emma Lindars and Michael Griffiths.

For dining in guests, the evening is accompanied by food and drinks from Scarlett Green's enviable kitchen.

It’s a night that is not to be missed!

Trevor Ashley is one of Australia’s most sought-after and successful performers. He has

built a career and following as an actor, writer, director and international queen of cabaret -

but not necessarily in that order.

In musical theatre, Trevor starred as Thenardier in Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Miserables

for which he was nominated for his third Helpmann Award. He has also appeared as Herod

in Jesus Christ Superstar, Edna Turnblad in Hairspray and created the role of Miss

Understanding in Priscilla Queen Of the Desert: The Musical, and has just completed a sell out run of Joseph and the amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat as Pharaoh.  

Ashley has previously starred in Liza on and E, Liza’s Back! is broken, both of which

toured to Vienna, Hong Kong and London’s West End, and in I’m Every Woman for which he won the Sydney Theatre Award, and TWINS with Rhonda Burchmore. 

His  adults-only pantos which annually garner great acclaim include The Bodybag, Fat Swan,  Little Orphan TrAshleyand The Lyin’ Queen, across Australia and at the Sydney Opera House, all of which he wrote and directed. His new Panto MOULIN SCROOGE! will return to the Seymour Centre in 2023. 

On television, Trevor was commissioned to write and star in The Very Trevor Ashley Show

for SBS. He recently completed a national symphony tour of Diamonds Are For Trevor, a

tribute to Shirley Bassey which was also recorded as a TV special for Foxtel Arts. He has also appeared in Les NortonABC, Drunk History Network 10, Get Krackin’ ABC and Dance Academy ABC and the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras broadcast as a special guest star. In 2023 he will return to play the regular role of Dolly in RFDS for the 7 Network, and is about to star in the PARAMOUNT+ original series QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE, with Graham Norton.

Emma Lindars has performed at countless corporate and private events, high-end parties and some of the biggest and most prestigious theatres in the world. She has had the pleasure of performing for LGBT travel company ‘Brand G vacations’ and has her debut album ‘As we grow Older’, available online.

Emma has just released her summer single ‘ Surrender My Heart’ with producers Scheilo on all streaming platforms

Most recently Emma was a Principle Vocalist performing Skyfall at the Royal Albert Hall for ’60 years of Bond celebration’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and David Arnold, available on Amazon Prime.

About Michael Griffiths:

Music, Comedy and Cabaret!

Described by the West Australian Newspaper as ‘one of the most consummate male cabaret performers in Australia at the moment’, Griffiths has made a name for himself in music comedy and cabaret across the globe since his humble debut at Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2011.

With fellow WAAPA graduate and former Beaufort St. housemate Dean Bryant as writer and director, Griffiths took a week off performing Jersey Boys in Sydney to delight a hometown crowd with his affectionate and cheeky tribute In Vogue: Songs By Madonna and cabaret subsequently stole his heart. After a decade traversing the stage in touring jukebox musicals like We Will Rock You, Priscilla and SHOUT!, he pivoted long before it was a buzzword and carved out a niche for himself with further camp pop-tributes to teenage idols Annie Lennox and Kylie Minogue.

Things got a little more serious when Barry Humphries asked him to create a tribute to Broadway songwriter Cole Porter with celebrated concert pianist and best selling author Anna Goldsworthy. Cole won him a Helpmann Award for Best Cabaret Performer in 2016 and garnered invites to perform in the USA, UK and across NZ.

Since 2016 he has been musical director for Les Girls star Carlotta and since 2019 for ABC’s Black Comedy star Steven Oliver. He was nominated for a Green Room Award Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys in 2014, won the Best Cabaret Adelaide Fringe Award in 2014 and received a star on the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Walk of Fame in 2018. He is Artistic Director for the inaugural Perth International Cabaret Festival 2021.
