Manzi's

Description

Manzi's is a reincarnation of the beloved, family-owned Leicester Square seafood institution that operated for decades — now helmed by The Wolseley Hospitality Group. It occupies Bateman's Buildings, a small alleyway tucked between Greek and Frith Streets, just off the south side of Soho Square. Serving up seaside charm, classic allure, and a hint of kitsch, Manzi's is a destination restaurant that offers familiar dishes with a side of playful escapism — Mediterranean-inspired classics and specialities with a flamboyant twist, designed to be shared.

Inside, the captivating nautical-themed décor seamlessly blends the elegance of the 1920s with the vibrant spirit of the 1970s, showcasing a palette of soothing blues and aquamarine tones and ceilings hung with elegant chandeliers. Upstairs features a glamorous square-shaped bar with a marble countertop, graced by life-sized stone mermaids at each corner. The "more-is-more" ethos extends to a full-length Ernest Hemingway-inspired mural in the lobby. The interiors were designed by specialist studio Fabled Studio.

From hand-dived scallops to whole monkfish tail, each dish is a celebration of the finest ingredients from the British sea. Specialities include a monkfish Wellington, alongside towering seafood platters, fish finger sandwiches, and lobster rolls, as well as a well-priced prix fixe menu.
