Description
Located in Soho, Kolamba is an authentic South Asian restaurant specialising in Sri Lankan home-cooking. Created by a husband and wife duo, the restaurant - named after the Sinhalese for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital city - serves a range of classic small and large sharing dishes, ubiquitous to the country.
The menu includes a number of home recipes and highlights such as pol roti coconut flatbread, kalu pol pork curry and hoppers - a bowl-shaped pancake and Sri Lankan staple. Indeed, the restaurant pays homage to the country's culture in all aspects, including its interiors. Designed with organic, earthy tones, Kolamba also features a number of contemporary stoneware inspired by traditional materials used on the island.
