Description
Soho’s Andrew Edmunds is that charming, tucked-away spot everyone raves about. You step into this 18th‑century townhouse with cosy, candlelit rooms and low ceilings - it’s intimate and relaxed, just how old‑school Soho should feel.
Food here is seasonal and heartwarming: Dover sole with brown butter, smoked ox tongue with pickles, and hake with salsa verde - always fresh, often surprising, and perfect for grazing. But it’s the wine list that steals the show, packed with French gems, older vintages, and prices that feel like a steal.
Since opening in 1986 by Andrew Edmunds himself (he unfortunately passed in 2022), it’s kept that same friendly, welcoming soul - no frills, just great food, wine, and conversation.
