It’s not every day that I dine in a restaurant that holds multiple awards and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, so when I do, you'd better know I’m coming hungry. As a fan of sultry cocktail den Eve, I’d been wanting to visit Adam Handling’s latest outpost for some time and took fellow DMNer Olivia along…
The Frog Hoxton
- No reviews.
The Frog Hoxton brings casual fine dining to Hoxton Square.
After the success of his temporary restaurant The Frog E1, Adam Handling moved his concept to the bigger venue in Hoxton Square, delivering the same award-winning food alongside two attached venues, Bean & Wheat and Iron Stag. The Frog serves 60 covers and has retained a lot of its original design, including furniture and artworks such as the signature wall panel signed by celebrity chefs. Much like his other venues, the interior is decorated with art from a selection of celebrated young artists.
The Frog offers up his trademark selection of tapas, large sharing plates, and tasting menus (with the option to buy the chefs a beer if you enjoy it!). Expect to find dishes like roast cod, broccoli, miso, and hazelnut, as well as cheese doughnuts. For drinks, there are cocktails, craft beer and wine. Iron Stag has an emphasis on aged whiskies, whereas the zero-waste Bean & Wheat sells coffees and boasts a fully-licensed bottle shop.
