Description
Bistro Sable Shoreditch is the second of the French restaurant's venues in London, located above the Princess of Shoreditch. The 32-seat restaurant can be accessed via its own entrance and up a spiralling staircase to reveal a calming space above the pub chatter, fitted with pendant lighting, retro prints, and white, crisp tablecloths.
The menu is traditional, boasting silky smooth and naughtily cheesy French onion soup and zingy beef tartare accompanied by shoestring fries to start. Mains sing to fish and meat lovers, with immaculately cooked bavette steak up for devouring, and cod atop butter beans and sausage. Leave room for dessert - the profiteroles are a star.
And if you're into wine? You'll be thrilled to browse Bisto Sable's extensive list. There are some lovely reds on there, and a great Sancerre.
