Jules

Description

Jules offers unpretentious but delicious tapas-style dishes to Putney High Street.

The venue is an independent brasserie owned and run by George Porchester, heir to Highclere castle – or, as it’s more well-known by, Downton Abbey.  The all-day restaurant is comprised mostly of modern wood furnishings, from the bar, the surrounding tables and the stools. The walls are lined with mismatched shelves that hold various pots, plants and other knick-knacks.

The restaurant is open from breakfast till dinner, and offers a series of unfussy tapas-style dishes, including plates like cod brandade with roast green peppers or pork cheek salad. There’s also gourmet pizzas, such as the salmon, fennel and caramlised onion pizza, as well as charcuterie and cheese.
