Sylva is a vibrant, casual, independent restaurant at Folkestone Gardens, just a short walk from Deptford and New Cross.

With a focus on a deep love for fresh ingredients, the food is inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern home cooking, with everything made fresh in their kitchen. Join us from Wednesday to Friday until 7pm and for weekend brunch 'til 3pm !

Named after the local legend John Evelyn’s book, Sylva, they share the same passion and love for nature. From collaborating with local businesses and upcycling most of their interior to using second-class produce from their partners at Smith & Brock, nature and sustainability run deep in their roots.

Sylva is a place where the ingredients are the true stars of the show. The food will showcase what nature has to offer, with different dishes available throughout the season.

Available for full-venue hire outside their operating hours, Sylva is the perfect spot for any kind of celebration. From birthdays and anniversaries to wedding receptions, Shuli and the team can cater to your requirements for the perfect party!
