Description
A new Japanese restaurant has opened in Mayfair as Andrey Datsenko brings TAKA to life. With 28 covers and two storeys, the new venue focused on traditional Japanese dining as dishes include sushi, sashimi and tempura, all whipped up by chefs who have trained in Tokyo.
This is not the first opening for Datsenko, who is also the creator of Melt Room in Soho as well as a TAKA in Tokyo. The Mayfair opening brings a true taste of Japan with a downstairs sake bar that serves Japanese whisky along with cocktails such as a plum and thyme prosecco smash.
