Tucked in the elegant Connaught Hotel, Hélène Darroze is as chic and snug as it gets. Think soft blush sofas, curved pink armchairs, warm wood tones, and designer touches like a blue glass chandelier and pieces by Damien Hirst. You've also got a super-exclusive Armagnac Room and a twelve-seat Chef’s Table downstairs for a more close-up dining vibe.
Helène Darroze took over in 2008 and climbed to three Michelin stars by 2021 - one of London’s top-rated places. She blends classic French cooking with modern flair and local British ingredients - lobster with tandoori spice, guinea fowl with coffee jus. It's a tasting-menu spot, but each dish speaks volumes. The whole experience is elegantly relaxed: high-end dishes and service, but always with heart.
