Description
Casa do Frango on Heddon Street is all about bringing a slice of the Algarve to central London. With its sun-soaked interiors, terracotta tones, hanging greenery and laid-back vibe, it’s the kind of place that instantly transports you to holiday mode. Whether you’re grabbing a table in the bright, open dining room or heading downstairs to the cosy Green Room bar, the space has been designed for everything from casual catch-ups to big group get-togethers.
The menu is made for sharing, with plates that celebrate Southern Portuguese cooking. Think Bacalhau à Brás, grilled chorizo, chilli prawns and whole sea bass, alongside beef espetadas and, of course, their much-loved signature peri peri chicken cooked over charcoal. Pair it all with a crisp vinho verde, an ice-cold Super Bock or a refreshing white port and tonic, and you’ll see why Casa has become such a cult favourite.
With roots in the Algarve thanks to co-founder Marco Mendes, the team here keeps things authentic without ever feeling fussy. It’s warm, welcoming and built for a crowd - whether you’re looking to impress on date night, gather the gang for dinner, or settle in for a long evening of food, drinks and good vibes.
