Description
Tucked away on Heddon Street in Mayfair, Ambassadors Clubhouse is a vibrant ode to the princely party mansions of undivided Punjab. The interiors are a maximalist dream - think soft lighting, wood panelling, bold fabrics, and original artwork from Punjabi artists. There’s a gold-domed central bar, three private dining rooms (Jungli, Tamasha, and Raja Rani), and a heated Verandah that’s perfect for semi-exclusive gatherings. Downstairs, the vibe shifts after dark with 'Ambassy,' a late-night space where DJs spin Punjabi and British dance tracks until 3am.
The concept is rooted in the founders’ heritage, inspired by their grandfather’s summer house in Dalhousie and the rich culinary traditions of Punjab. It’s from JKS Restaurants, the powerhouse behind Gymkhana and Trishna. Executive Chef Manmeet Shasuna, alongside head chefs Manmeet Singh and Pasanjeet Oberoi, brings regional recipes to life with dishes cooked over tandoor, sigri, and tawa. Expect bold flavours, playful presentation, and a menu that celebrates both Indian and Pakistani influences without compromise.
