Hero of Maida
Formerly The Truscott Arms, this gastropub, which specialises in French and British cuisine is one of the latest openings from the Harcourt Inns group. Under the direction of former Racine chef Henry Harris, Hero of Maida ties together restaurant quality food with a local pub atmosphere.
Split over two levels, the ground floor will serve as traditional pub with light lunch and dinner options. On the upper floor there will be a dedicated dining and restaurant space with a more developed menu. The pub also serves delicious roast dinners on Sundays, with seven-hour slow roasted lamb shoulder and Angus beef both appearing on the menu.
Whether it's a couple of after work pints with other North London friends, or a weekend lunch or dinner, this warm and friendly gastropub is welcome addition to the neigbourhood.
