From the team behind som saa comes Kolae, a Thai bar and grill tucked inside a beautifully restored coach house in the heart of Borough Market. Spread across three floors, the space combines an open kitchen and counter dining downstairs with a stunning private dining room upstairs for 12 to 16 guests. It’s intimate, stylish, and perfect for everything from casual dinners to special occasions.

The menu celebrates the bold, fiery flavours of Thailand’s Southern Provinces, with a focus on kolae - a traditional cooking style where ingredients are coated in a coconut-based curry marinade and grilled over open flames. Expect dishes that balance smoky depth with vibrant spice, all made using the best British and Thai produce: meat from Swaledale in Yorkshire, fish fresh from the South Coast, and vegetables sourced from Thailand and UK organic growers. Curry pastes are stone-ground in-house, coconut cream is made fresh daily, and the menu changes with the seasons - so every visit feels unique.
