Coppa Club is a multi-purpose hangout with some of the best views you’re likely to find in London. Originally hailing from the lovely village of Sonning, the team here arrive on the banks of the Thames to open a welcoming spot good for eating, drinking, meeting and unwinding.
The 250-cover restaurant is a vast space offering a gentle buzz of an atmosphere whether you’re coming by for a quick breakfast or dining late into the night. The menu is centred around thoughtful yet unfussy European food, with smaller plates, grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads all on offer. There’s a cafe with snug booths and a fireplace to curl up by in the winter, and a centrepiece brass bar which serves a decent spread of wine, beer and cocktails.
Saving the best to last, the vantage point on offer at Coppa Club’s south-facing terrace is something else. Get the drinks in and take up a pew on the fringes of the river, where you’ll have a front row view of the splendour of Tower Bridge.
Launching in May 2017 and running for the duration of the summer, Coppa Club Tower Bridge have created wisteria and rose-laced cabanas, with beautiful views of the Thames to match. The Coppa Club cabanas can be reserved for private use for 8-10 people, with two ready for smaller groups at 2-6. Two of the cabanas will also be reserved for walk-ins only.
