Description

Coppa Club is a multi-purpose hangout with some of the best views you’re likely to find in London. Originally hailing from the lovely village of Sonning, the team here arrive on the banks of the Thames to open a welcoming spot good for eating, drinking, meeting and unwinding.

The 250-cover restaurant is a vast space offering a gentle buzz of an atmosphere whether you’re coming by for a quick breakfast or dining late into the night. The menu is centred around thoughtful yet unfussy European food, with smaller plates, grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads all on offer. There’s a cafe with snug booths and a fireplace to curl up by in the winter, and a centrepiece brass bar which serves a decent spread of wine, beer and cocktails.

Saving the best to last, the vantage point on offer at Coppa Club’s south-facing terrace is something else. Get the drinks in and take up a pew on the fringes of the river, where you’ll have a front row view of the splendour of Tower Bridge.

Igloo concept was fabulous and with the Tower Bridge back drop made for some great photos. Downside - igloos very small and fit 10 people. On a sunny day the igloo was super hot so the plastic cover was taken off then making it quite exposed and windy. Sangria cocktail and burger were excellent. Overall good experience. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 23 Apr 2017

Unfortunately, we had a really poor experience at this venue. We had booked on of the igloos (these have now gone) but after 25mins of being seated, no member of staff had come to take our drinks or food orders. I had to go and get a member of staff to come and tend to the table and even after this was brought to their attention, they took another five minutes to actually come over. When the food eventually arrived, it was cold - we had the Skillet Full English breakfasts and it was not impressive. Everything just seemed coated in grease and, as mentioned, it was cold. No one came to see how the meal was or to ask us if we had everything we needed. We deliberately did not tip for this reason as the experience was pretty rubbish - I won't be returning visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 23 Apr 2017

No one pick up the calls as I would like to enquire the booking details before visit. As written on website there should be igloo table available for walk in customers but when I visited on Wed night the staff told me that all igloos were fully booked and the only table for walk-in was not available because the tent was broken. If I have learnt that before I visited from the call I wouldn't have visited the restaurant for nothing, visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 19 Apr 2017

After pre-booking a table on line as part of a weekend in London, we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table that did, as requested, have a view towards Tower Bridge. Our waitress was attentive, polite and efficient. Our order was taken and our food arrived in a timely manner. The food was to a high standard, and good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Coppa Club to anyone visiting London. An excellent evening all round. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 21 Apr 2017

The location and design of the Igloo was very nice even though the igloos are a bit tiny for 8 people. The food was great value for money but the staff was very bad trained. We had to call for the waiter attention several times before being able to order or pay the bill. They were not able to answer to simple questions regarding the food and were not even aware of the existence of some of the dishes on the list. Eventually, I was served the wrong dish at the table. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 22 Apr 2017

Went for brunch on a Saturday morning, hadn't booked the pop-up igloos, but they managed to find us a table! Amazing service throughout, had the baked eggs which were delicious and treated myself to a breakfast margarita which was also very tasty. Will definitely be going back to try a table in the restaurant and highly recommend this place to anyone. saraneary visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 22 Apr 2017

We really enjoyed our evening in the igloo. The only downfall was the timings of the food being brought out. The manager didn't charge us for any of our mains because 3/4 mains were brought out together but my friend was left waiting 10 minutes with just her side dish. We think they had forgotten to cook her main, however, management didn't own up to this. Cocktails were great and the manage was very apologetic so we left happy. Other members of staff didn't seem to know how to deal with the situation though and just said it had happened because the kitchen was 'busy'. In my opinion, all food should come out at the same time, it shouldn't leave the kitchen if all dishes aren't cooked. Only other comment was that the welcome was a bit unorganised. We were greeted by a guy who looked like bouncer who then told us to check in with the lady with the clipboard but then another waiter approached us and asked if we'd booked a table and then wandered off confused about where we were sitting. It was a little awkward and everyone seemed confused. Our booking was in the clipboard so we're not sure why staff were faffing about so much!! All in all I would return, but maybe to a different branch. We were grateful for the refund on our dishes though. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 22 Apr 2017

Beautiful place with decent food, however the waiter we had seemed uninterested and quite rude. Not talkative and seemed rather arrogant. So this made the experience slightly unpleasant, but was a nice place and the food was good. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 22 Apr 2017

We found the food was beautiful however the service wasn't as good. My daughter had to wait 20 mins after my husband and I had our breakfast for hers which resulted in me informing them it's still missing (nobody knew despite this being the second reminder) and when it did come out it was wrong. It wasn't the end of the world but not a great experience for a hungry child! Other than this the igloo was a nice experience and the food was lovely. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 22 Apr 2017

Had a lovely evening, staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would say is the igloos need renewing and felt a little close to others as you have to share, I was on a table for two and was shared with two other tables of four which felt a little close and tight. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 21 Apr 2017

Our igloo was covered in holes, the zip did not close, making it very cold and was the only one that had no lights. The waiter seemed confused in general, but did bring out some candles to make up for the fact we had no lights. This was a nice gesture until the candles went out not even a minute later because there was no wax on them. Good job we both have a good sense of humour I guess otherwise this would have ruined what was a nice weekend in the city, not worth the month wait for a table though. Food was ok and very cheap for the location, so there is a star for that. Maybe it was just a one off, will review if I go again :) visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 21 Apr 2017

Was in an Igloo, may have been a particularly bad one, but it was ripped in a couple of places. Was quite cold and it kept flapping up at the sides. Heater was not good enough and the fur seat covers were very shabby. Food was quite nice but not sure I would dine in the igloo again. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 19 Apr 2017

I am very disappointed with my igloo experience, despite the food I thought that the service was awful. we were originally told over the phone that we would have our own private igloo when in fact we were joined by 2 other couples and in such a confined space it was extremely uncomfortable and ruined our evening. I assume this was due to there being a miss hap with reservations as when we got seated we were then told again that the other people would be accommodated for in another igloo. The reservation was for a special occasion and we feel that it was some what ruined because we could not have the privacy which was explained prior to our meal. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 19 Apr 2017

Service was great and really friendly. Breakfast food was nice. However, because it is a plastic igloo, the sun shone in really brightly from 10 onwards and heated the insides of the igloo thus it could get a little warm inside. All in all, the view and experience made up for it :) visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 19 Apr 2017

0 rate . One of the worst experiences in London. Very rude receptionist, unattantive waiter (mixed the order). The space inside the pod was dirty with napkins on the floor, sticky table and bird marks on the exterior of the pod. In terms of food nothing special at all. Highly negative. visited Coppa Club Tower Bridge on 18 Apr 2017
