Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High

Description

Perched on the 60th floor of the city skyscraper at 22 Bishopsgate, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High offers an ultra-exclusive, sky-high dining experience that is among the highest in Europe. Operating as an intimate, 12-seat Chef’s Table, the venue features a minimalist, sleek horseshoe counter where comfortable leather bar stools are intentionally oriented outward toward floor-to-ceiling glass windows. This layout sacrifices the typical view of the open kitchen to grant diners a mesmerising, uninterrupted panorama of London and the River Thames. The atmosphere is calm and intensely focused, feeling like a serene oasis of elegance tucked away from the more energetic, neighbouring corporate venues below.

The culinary concept revolves around a single, multi-course Carte Blanche tasting menu that carries a Michelin Star. Orchestrated by the kitchen team, the dining experience borrows inspiration from the timeless foundations of Ramsay's flagship Chelsea establishment while focusing heavily on seasonality and high-end British produce. Guests are treated to a parade of artistic, inventive dishes—ranging from a theatrical oyster ice cream with seaweed mignonette to a signature lobster ravioli and dry-aged duck. Because all twelve guests are served simultaneously, starting promptly at 7pm, punctuality is essential, and the experience feels less like a traditional restaurant meal and more like a private, choreographed gastronomic event in the sky.
