Serving brunch, dinner and everything in between, Soul Store West hopes to the become the primary all-day-dining spot in the area. Riding the wave of gentrification that seems to be washing over Kilburn, it couples plates of American comfort food with the infectious, electric vibes that course through every funk and soul track. With walls lined with vintage record sleeves, the entire venue floats on the sounds of Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder. 

But despite that all, it's still the food that steals the show. Alongside traditional favourites such as baby back ribs and St. Louis beef ribs, the menu features a few culinary curveballs, with plates such as spicy fried catfish, fire thigh burgers and soul sandwiches. Rounding things off, the cocktail bar serves fresh cocktails created by head honcho Mario Sandberg. Sink a few purple corn whisky smashes or sip on a flavoursome Hailstorm peach julep.
