Killer Tomato look to Kensington for their second taco site in London

Killer Tomato Kensington

What they say:

Killer Tomato looks to spread its wings, opening a second site in the former bones of Talkhouse Coffee on Portobello Road. The team behind the restaurant will be serving the same traditional and experimental street food dishes - specifically tacos - that lifted the restaurant's name up London's culinary ladder. Expect to find seasoned meat and vegetable fillings on the menu, including the likes of Korean stick fried chicken, cheeseburger, slow-cooked Vietnamese slow-cooked pork and featherblade steak with herb salsa.

What we say:

We're excited anytime we hear news about Killer Tomato. The opening of the Kensington site is part of a wider push by the taco masterminds to spread their brand across London; rumour has it the team is looking to open ten more restaurants over the course of the next five years. Pushing boundaries in every way, Killer Tomato's new site will importantly be cashless. Only card payments or payments through mobile phones will be accepted. It's a big step that we're seeing more and more in new restaurants as London looks to become paperless.
