Radici brings hearty southern Italian cuisine to Islington.

The second restaurant from Sartoria chef Francesco Mazzei, the venue dives into the rich culinary history of his heritage, which means a menu packed with authentic tomato sauces, salty meats and crowd-pleasing flavours that hail from regions like Sardinia, Sicily, and Campania. This materialises into dishes like Umido di Baccala – salt cod with potatoes, tomato sauce, onions, capers and black olives – or Ferrazzuoli – eggless pasta with southern Italian lamb, pork and beef ragu.

Pizzas are baked in their traditional wood oven and there are a range of charcuterie and cheeses for a more casual dining experience. On Sundays, they offer a specialised ‘feasting’ menu, perfect for large groups looking for Sunday dinner together.
