Line up:

Gilly Heller:

Hailing from West London, Gilly Heller, a rapper, songwriter, and co-producer, has always had dreams that exceed himself and his environment. His unique style and cadence set him apart, allowing him to manoeuvre between a wealth of genres. Blending afrobeat style instrumentals with RnB rhythms and modern rap elements for a sublime listening experience.

Vicky Trantou:

Vicky Trantou is an alternative R&B singer/songwriter hailing from West London. After discovering her passion for music, a very shy and voiceless teenage Vicky found her voice and grew in confidence with the voice that she is today. With influences such as Jazmine Sullivan, Yebba and Tori Kelly; Vicky draws inspiration from writing about her life experiences encouraging self-confidence, producing emotive lyrics coupled with unique melodies. As one of the most anticipated emerging artists for 2024 - Vicky has a busy 2023 packed with performances, catalogue building and development. Vicky Trantou sets out to defy the odds of a 1st generation British-Bulgarian - bending the rules of genres and challenging the status-quo.

Essii:

Since launching her career in 2020, British-Zambian artist, Essii has successfully gained recognition from the likes of Clash and Wonderland, all whilst accruing a growing fanbase that has earned her over 1 million streams across streaming platforms and over 2 million views on YouTube. Essii’s lyrical artistry swelled from her journey in relationships and heartbreak. Drawing from the tumultuous rollercoaster of young love, she is renowned for a raw honesty with a sleek and soulfully feminine flair.
Cementing herself as an exciting new voice in the UK R&B scene, Essii’s early releases ‘Pourin’ and ‘Positions’ resulted in a collaboration with pop star, Coi Leray on 2021 single ‘Brown Eyes’, which scored spins on BBC Radio 1, Kiss Fresh, and Rinse, whilst receiving a buzz from fans on TikTok and the video music seeing over 1 million views.

It was a brilliant night out; Kindred is such a beautiful, intimate space for a comedy show. The staff are warm, the artists were brilliant and the DJ was great. I loved how as host, Travis engaged with the audience in such a friendly way - there is always a worry being sat that close to the stage when comedians are on, but he was funny and engaging with the right amount of banter, keeping us all bubbling for the featured acts, without stealing the show - a great balance. KG stole the show for me - naturally hilarious and confident, with real, relatable stories! Loved Michael’s set too. I came alone and felt right at home. Congrats to everyone who made it happen, it was a fantastic night out! I’ll be back (if I’m in the country). Bless!
