Description
Hackney Coterie is an independent restaurant, wine bar and wine shop next door to the overground station and 5 mins walk from Hackney Central.
Housed in a former paper doily factory, the large warehouse space is cool in the summer and cosy in the winter. Bare brick walls and high ceilings are peppered with vibrant pieces of art and pops of colour throughout the venue. The front bar is perfect for drinks or a casual meal while the large terrace space is a hive of activity in the summer months. The downstairs private event space is regularly used as a private dining room or for parties.
The menu showcases dishes designed to share amongst the table and although the food doesn't attribute itself to any specific cuisine, instead allowing the kitchen creative freedom, there is a lean towards Mediterranean flavours and Asian influences. It features a mix of meat, fish and a substantial amount of vegetable dishes. The wine list focuses on small and low intervention producers and the bar sources spirits from local suppliers where possible.

Our downstairs private room seats between 17 - 24 people for dinner. We have a choice of two group dining sharing menus to choose from, at £40 per person or £50 per person, that includes a mix of meat, fish and vegetable based dishes. The space is great for a range of different occasions including birthday parties, get together with family and friends, engagement parties, Christmas parties.
