Sessions Arts Club

Description

Tucked behind a discreet red door in Clerkenwell’s Old Sessions House, Sessions Arts Club is one of London’s most enchanting dining experiences.

Housed in a restored 18th-century Grade II-listed courthouse, the space is a visual feast: soaring ceilings, worn jade walls, crumbling pink plaster, and arched windows that flood the room with light by day and cast a moody glow by night.

At the helm is Abigail Hill, who took over from Florence Knight in 2023, and whose cooking is as thoughtful and refined as the setting. She serves a seasonal, European-inspired menu that’s deceptively simple and deeply satisfying. Expect dishes like poached hake with watercress, pork belly with fennel and orange, or potato and chard croquettes with lemon aioli, each one letting the quality of the ingredients shine

But it isn’t just about food. It’s a cultural hub, hosting art installations, performances, and intimate gatherings. The rooftop terrace - with its marble bar and infinity pool - offers panoramic views over London, making it a rare and magical escape in the heart of the city.
