Aram by Imad is the vibrant Eastern Mediterranean café, deli and restaurant from celebrated Syrian chef Imad Alarnab, set within the grand South Wing of Somerset House. The space blends historic London elegance with warm Levantine charm, offering sweeping views over the River Terrace and interiors filled with olive trees, soft sage tones and globe lighting - perfect for everything from a breezy brunch to a leisurely afternoon bite.
Drawing inspiration from Syria, Turkey, Cyprus and Jordan, the menu reads like a love letter to the region, featuring za’atar croissants, halva brownies, hummus salata, cauliflower salad and labneh with poached eggs. Many ingredients are specially imported from Syria, adding an authentic touch to every plate.
Chef Imad Alarnab, known for Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in Soho and admired for his remarkable journey from Damascus to London, launched Aram in 2025 alongside partners Michalis Ntais and Christos Georgogiannopoulos, expanding his culinary storytelling into a broader Eastern Mediterranean landscape. The venue spans four rooms, including a deli where guests can pick up pastries, spices and speciality ingredients, with future plans for evening dining and supper clubs.
