Roma is a new, unique concept restaurant and wine bar located by Fenchurch Station, bringing 2000 year old flavours and passions of Ancient Rome to the heart of London’s modern city scene. As well as a rich menu of Roman inspired dishes, the restaurant serves fresh salumi and cheeseboards right through until late.
The Romans' vast empire meant a lot of wine under their control. Each wine on the list here has been traced back to the very same vineyards throughout Europe that the Romans themselves would have drunk from. The folks behind this unique eatery have also designed a bespoke cocktail list; be sure to look out for their self-titled signature concoction.
If you’re going to drink like a Roman, they'll make sure you can eat like one too. Using London’s very best, locally-sourced produce, Roma's chefs revive Ancient Rome’s cooking techniques - like 'cooking with hay' - to leave the meat on show mouth-wateringly irresistible.
