In 2011 after a couple of pints, the team behind Pizza Pilgrims
quit their day jobs, and found a three wheeler called Concetta to
take them around Italy on the ultimate Pizza Pilgrimage. Their
mission was clear, they needed to bring proper Neapolitan pizza to
London.
Since then they've opened a string of pizzerias, all with their
own personalities, starting first with their cosy little spot on
Dean Street in Soho. This is their largest joint to date - Pizza
Pilgrims in Canary Wharf, with their sunny quay side terrace
overlooking the skyline and a games room area called the Pizza
Playground.
The beautiful terrace can be hired out and can accommodate up to
150 guests, equipped with an outdoor bar, foosball tables and is
covered and heated.
The Pizza Playground does exactly what it says on the tin,
Arcade machines such as Packman, Pinball, Donkey Kong, Nintendo
Switch with Mario Kart, PS2 for all the Fifa fans, SNES with over
100 mini games, old school board games and their 16-player foosball
table. This area is perfect for corporate parties, birthdays, kids
parties, hens, stags and if you're looking for something a little
different - then this venue definitely has you covered and hosts up
to 100 guests.
Pop in for a drink, pop in for a pizza, pop in for some big kid
fun.
Anything goes in the Playground.
