The Richmond

Description

The Richmond offers seafood snacks and a strong choice of classic cocktails from its homely Dalston base on Queensbridge Road. It’s a joint venture from Brett Redman – of Elliot’s in Borough Market – and Margaret Crow, a Texan fashion consultant.

Standing on the site of the former Egyptian restaurant LMNT, the space serves up palate pleasing oysters, clams and scallops through the week and family-sized roast dinners on Sundays. Wash it all down with a classic cocktail or something from their hand-picked, raw wine list instead. You can pick up £1 Oysters during Happy Hours, which run throughout the week.

The venue comes designed by an antiques dealer and is open for comfort foods and relaxing evening catch ups seven days a week.
