Nestled on a sunlit corner of De Beauvoir, Albers reimagines what a neighbourhood restaurant can be. It’s the welcoming spirit of a local pub, paired with the precision and focus of a modern bistro – a space that strikes a clean line between warmth and sophistication.

Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with light, while Scandi-inspired furnishings and homespun touches create an atmosphere that feels both curated and lived-in. At the heart of it all is a kitchen led by founder Scott Pattinson, general manager Zac Spooner, and chef Ania Stanton, serving food rooted in classic cookery with the occasional playful twist.

The menu is built on clarity and heart - dishes you recognise at first glance, cooked with care and a touch of nerve. Expect plates that evolve with the seasons, such as a prawn cocktail reimagined with a Walker’s crisp homage, steak with peppercorn sauce, corn French toast with corn custard and peaches, and more. 

Drinks follow the same ethos: a short, confident cocktail list (don’t miss the clarified spicy margarita with a Scotch bonnet kick), alongside a concise wine selection that has become a local talking point.

Albers is open for lunch Thursday to Saturday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, with menus that shift weekly to keep things fresh and seasonal.
