Since striking out alone little more than a year ago, Neil Rankin has been courting success after success. The latest comes in the form of a third temper restaurant, located in Covent Garden.
With sister restaurants in Soho and City, the latest temper will also feature an open grill on which to cook ethically sourced meat. While the former sites focuses on curry and tacos, the Covent Garden site will turn towards pizza and pasta, with a selection of cured-meat pizzas and ragus made from goat, game or pork.
The new site will also feature a few unique differences. Vermouth will take centre stage with a range of strong cocktails including the negroni. For the first time, the chain will be open for breakfast; expect croissants and home-cured bacon and sausages.
