The team behind Notting Hill's successful Eggbreak eatery now
turn their attention to Covent Garden, setting up an
Indian restaurant that marries the best cuts of British meat
with the exotic spices and intriguing cooking techniques of North
India. Based on Adelaine Street, the Tandoor Chop House serves an
array of both classic and contemporary recipes.
The entire restaurant is focused around three tandoor ovens.
Based in the centre of the venue, these hollow, spherical ovens are
used to cook and grill a selection of spice-marinated meats and
fiery vegetable dishes. Immediately washing a wave of heat over
them, guests will be able to enjoy the likes of fiery Amritsari
Lamb Chops, Tandoori Masala Chicken and Beef Boti.
The daring combination of Indian and British cuisine continues
on the dessert menu. Signing off the meal perfectly, guests can
tuck into cheese and cardamon biscuits or Chai infused creme
brulée, leaving a distinctive taste lingering on each diner's
palate.
