POLPO is a bĆ caro. This is a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young Italian wines. They offer tasty small plates, Prosecco and Spritz in a setting that reflects the gloriously faded elegance of Venice, and the charms of its backstreet wine bars.
The Aperol Bar is POLPO's airiest bar and, unusually for a basement, is blessed with daylight, thanks to a cunning double-height skylight pointing to the skies above Covent Garden. The Aperol Bar can accommodate up to 30 people for an informal drinks party.
POLPO loves PARTIES. A special occasion means that things need to be done a certain way. Itās YOUR party and they want to make sure everything is perfect. The team knows that the little details make the difference between a āgoodā party or a great do that will be talked about forever.
They are available for a private whole hire, the restaurant is hugely adaptable and can be suitable for sit down meals for up to 80, orĀ drinkĀ parties for up to 120! They do Cocktail Masterclasses too!Ā
