The founder of Le Bab and Maison Bab is launching his most ambitious project to date: Kebab Queen.

With a traditional kebab shop exterior, this Covent Garden restaurant is anything but casual, with a smart seven-course dining menu, cooked by chefs within touching distance. Kebab Queen will be a sit-down experience, with guests perching on cobalt blue stools around the wood-fired grill; other quirky design features include pink floor tiles and curtains.

The menu is inspired by the Mediterranean and Turkey, showcasing the smoky flavours of the region. Diners will be able to work their way through plates including the likes of BBQ'd fois gras, a risotto based on the British's love a doner kebab, and the 'Got Milk' pudding is inspired by the chef's childhood with milk buns and caramelised creme.
