Duck & Waffle Local brings the same playful yet quality dining experience of its sky-high sister restaurant down to the streets in Piccadilly.

Situated in the renovated St James’s Market, the venue juxtaposes polished concrete flooring and timber fittings with contemporary sculpture and handmade bespoke tiling, evoking a farm-to-table dining experience while staying true to the tongue-in-cheek nature of the restaurant. The ceiling is made from curved corrugated metal and the kitchen is red and open, acting as a call back to the original at the top of Heron Tower.

Duck & Waffle Local offers a more casual, cost-effective dining experience, but still comes packed with its own quirks. The menu continues to offer their trademark fun items, such as the titular Duck & Waffle and BBQ Spiced & Seasoned Crackling Pigs Ears, but new items include The Duck Burger, which is served with a crispy duck leg, and a Duck Jam Doughnut, for a sweet and savoury dessert. For drinks they serve a range of local craft beers, including the Holy Duck IPA, along with a selection of wine. They also offer a creative range of cocktails poured from taps.
