Abuelo is an Australian meets South American coffee-house and kitchen in the heart of Covent Garden and the theatre district.
Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner it offers a menu of organic, fresh Australian style meals with a South American twist, plus some of the best specialty coffee you will find in London. Abuelo is not your ordinary café - it is a haven of good vibes and warmth amidst the bustle of the city, with its architect designed fit out of earthy colours and materials, fresh food, great coffee, good tunes and friendly staff.
The name 'Abuelo' meaning 'grandfather' in Spanish links to the homely feeling of the place – with the large home-stead style kitchen table in the middle of the room and the antique spindle chairs surrounding it, the handwoven Argentinian textiles, the artworks and the timber fireplace, all evoking a sense of comfort.
