Casa Fofo

Just a short walk form Hackney Downs station this unique eatery is the first opening from chef Adolfo de Cecco, formerly of Hackney's much-lauded Pidgin. In the spirit of his previous haunt, de Cecco has crafted a daily changing menu that showcases the best of seasonal produce in a stunning, globally-inspired menu. While plates will rotate regularly, diners may find themselves tucking into almond tortello in cock crab and brown butter broth, yeast and shoaxing wine-glazed pork or a Mah Kwan pepper croqueline.

Named for the chef-patron's grandfather, Casa Fofó is by no means a large venue. With space for just 16 covers in the main dining area, and a further 12 at the communal tables in the basement, it's an intimate environment for enjoying some excellent eats in.
