Having won over the Brighton dining scene with two award winning restaurants in the shape of The Coal Shed and The Salt Room, restaurateur Razak Helalat has swapped the salty sea air for a whiff of the Thames and opened a second Coal Shed at One Tower Bridge. Can he transfer that seaside success to this…
The Coal Shed Tower Bridge
Perfectly placed just a stones-throw from London’s iconic Tower Bridge,The Coal Shed draws on traditional methods of cooking on natural fire and charcoal to grill sustainably sourced meat and fish.
Spanning over two floors, diners in the main restaurant will be able to watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen in its relaxed, contemporary take on old-world glamour. The upper level can accommodate up to 20 guests in a private-dining room or, with the full take-over of our mezzanine level, up to 50 diners. Exclusive hire of The Coal Shed is also available for up to 100 guests.
For drinks, choose from classic cocktails, as well as house mixes with a charcoal, smoked-themed twist, such as the Dark Coal Sour. There's an extensive wine list, and a wonderful selection of champagnes, as well as many whiskies and spirits.
