MRBL is a modern British steakhouse tucked inside the iconic Leadenhall Market in the City, blending a heritage setting with a sleek, contemporary finish. Inside, it leans into classic steakhouse styling with a polished edge — think dark wood tones, leather banquettes, low lighting and a marble-topped bar — while an open charcoal grill adds a sense of theatre. The space spans two floors with a terrace overlooking the market, giving it real occasion appeal in one of London’s most visually striking spots.
At its core, MRBL is all about steak and wine done well. The menu centres on carefully sourced, dry-aged British beef — including premium sharing cuts — cooked over charcoal for that rich, smoky depth. Alongside that, you’ll find elevated comfort dishes, indulgent sides like beef-fat chips and marrow mash, and a tightly curated drinks list, including a standout martini-and-fries offering aimed at the after-work City crowd. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Matt Colk (formerly of Aviary and The Gun), with the concept coming from the team behind Boom Bap Burger.
